From Johannesburg, get onto the N3 Freeway and keep on this road until you approach Durban.
Once through the Marianhill Toll Plaza, look out for Pavilion Shopping Centre on your right. Once past this, keep to the left-hand lane as you will be bleeding off left from N3, onto the N2 North Coast.
Umhlanga Rocks is well sign posted on N2. At the Umhlanga exit from N2, keep right and at the traffic light top of the off-ramp turn right and get into the middle lane. Pass the exit for Gateway and take the very next off-ramp for Umhlanga. Turn left. You will now be on Umhlanga Ridge and should be able to see the sea on your right. Go straight at the roundabout and thereafter you will see Umhlanga Hospital on your left. Then get into the right hand lane ready for the next roundabout which will take you down the hill towards the sea.
You will go through three sets of traffic lights quite close together. At the third traffic light, get into left hand lane, go straight and you will see one more traffic light ahead, in Umhlanga Village. At this set, bleed left and you will be in Lagoon Drive. Travel + - 50 metres and you will see Cabana Beach Lifestyle Resort on your right. Pass Cabana Beach Lifestyle Resort.
Drive past Porkys restaurant and pub on your left hand side. Umhlanga Sands Lifestyle Resort approximately 500 meters to your right
